Three firings in a row

Hadn’t fired since last fall, so I have done three quick firings in a row. I wanted to wait until the glazes were unlikely to freeze again before getting them back into shape. Here are the before and after shots of the front of firing #1

And two tables of pots from firing #2.  I was particularly pleased with the Shino results!

The third firing is cooling right now and I will post results soon.

I am off to teach at John Campbell Folk School next week, have a new session of weekly classes starting at City Clay, and a new round of classes beginning at TeachinArt, so it would seem that my winter fallow spell is over.
