I teach pottery classes in my Nelson County studio near Nellysford.  Adult students at all levels of experience are welcome. Classes meet for three hours, once a week, on Monday evenings or Wednesday mornings.

Class sessions last four weeks, and cost $112. That fee covers materials and supplies, but not firing charges. Practice time is available when class is not in session.  Maximum class size is seven. 

While most of the class emphasis is on making functional pottery working on the wheel, students are also free to explore sculptural and handbuilding techniques.

As of June 2008, all classes are full.  Contact me if you are interested in having your name added to the waiting list.

Notes:

There are no classes July 14 & 16, and the studio will be closed that week. 

There are no classes October 13 &15, and the studio will be closed that week. 

2008 classes run only through October - Ideally, all work should be glazed and ready to fire by the end of October.
