I teach pottery classes in my Nelson County studio near Nellysford.  Adult students at all levels of experience are welcome.  Classes meet for three hours, once a week, on Monday evenings or Wednesday mornings.  As of May 2010, there is space available in the Monday evening group.  If you are interested in joining the Monday class or would like to be on the Wednesday class waiting list, drop me a line or give me a call.

Class sessions last four weeks, and cost $120.  That fee covers materials and supplies, but not firing charges. Practice time is available when class is not in session.  Maximum class size is nine.

While most of the class emphasis is on making functional pottery working on the wheel, students are also free to explore sculptural and handbuilding techniques.

Session #7   July 19 – August 16 (no class July 26)
Session #8   August 23 – September 20 (no class September 6)
Session #9    September 27 – October 25 (final session of 2010 will be five weeks long)

Wednesdays   9:00 am – noon
Session #6   June 23 – July 14
Session #7   July 21 – August 18 (no class July 28)
Session #8    August 25 – September 22 (no class September 1)
Session #9    September 29 – October 27 (final session of 2010 will be five weeks long)

Notes:
Monday class will not meet on  July 26 and September 6
Wednesday class will not meet on July  28 and September 1
There are no classes July 26 & 28, and the studio will be closed for use July 25-31
There are no classes September 1&6 and the studio will be closed for use September 1-7
There are no classes during November & December.  Classes will resume January 2011.
