Planning a Visit to My Studio

Nelson County, where we’ve lived and worked since 1978, is a beautiful place!  We’re about 25 miles southwest of Charlottesville, Virginia, next to the Blue Ridge Mountains.  If you want to come visit, I suggest you follow these directions, instead of relying on mapquest.  They will get you here by way of a long, winding, narrow gravel road.  It’s an adventure, to be sure, but not the easiest route!

If you come from afar, here are some suggestions on places to stay, listed in order of distance from the studio, plus a few suggestions on local wineries and restaurants, and places to visit.
